Highland, San Bernardino County
Highland lies at the foot of the San Bernardino Mountains, and Highway 330 climbs from its eastern side up City Creek canyon toward Running Springs and Big Bear Lake. The city incorporated in 1987. The San Manuel reservation borders it on the north, and the Santa Ana River wash, a broad bed of sand and boulders, forms its southern edge.
